Having been supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Human Rights Programme, this project aims to raise the youth aged between 14-18 in Turkey as prospective human rights defenders. In line with this aim, a number of high school students and their teachers will be trained on historical, legal, and political context and specific content of chosen international conventions and they will be brought together with national and international counterparts who have taken lead roles in advocating human rights. Additionally, this project aims to develop human rights awareness among this age group through disseminating conventional educational material and game-based teaching material via this webpage.
